We stayed at the same farmhouse James stayed at in the late 80's when he was stationed in Germany. Pastor and Mrs. Beach had prepared dinner for us when we arrived and then we played games and James enjoyed catching up with friends. The warm down comforters were wonderful and the breakfast was simple and delicious (bread, cheese, meats, jam, fresh milk from their dairy, coffee, and tea).

Pastor and Mrs. Beach took us on a tour through the Bavarian Alps and into Austria. The drive through the snow covered mountains was breathtaking. Wrapping up our drive, we then toured a villa of King Ludwig II, which was quite opulent.
