Thanksgiving weekend ~ 2010

Thanksgiving morning, we woke up to our first snow in Germany! The snow continued throughout the day, it was quite beautiful.
A family, from the church we were visiting, invited us to Thanksgiving dinner and we spent the afternoon at their home enjoying their company. The next morning, we headed south towards Bavaria. After getting lost in Mannheim and being slightly terrified traveling in the snow(that would be me) we finally found our way to our destination.

We met up with the Beaches for the weekend, they were wonderful tour guides. They have been missionaries here in Germany for many years. James was led to the Lord in their church(High Point Baptist Church) when he was stationed in Ulm in the late eighties. James spent a lot of time with the Beach family during his time here and was thrilled to be able to see Pastor Beach and his wife again, as they have had such a godly and lasting impact on his life. Pastor and Mrs. Beach made the weekend quite memorable.
